Lesser Atriarch of Malifica (Djinn)

Lesser Atriarchs of Malifica are regarded as outcasts within the demonic hierarchy, emerging from the primordial depths as semi-autonomous entities with a primitive intelligence. Born from a god's polyps, these harbingers of Ugul Hul's malevolence embark on a journey of evolution as they explore the ocean depths and absorb the energies of ancient ley lines. As they mature, they develop a symbiotic relationship with crystals that form along these leylines, gaining ability and expanded consciousness. 

Physically, the Lesser Atriarch resembles a grotesque fusion of flesh and energy, with a membranous flesh wrapped around a strange glowing crystal. Encased in Plates of Ghur'dan, the creatures form constantly shifts, showcasing the unstable nature of its demonic essence. Marked by their individuation within the collective hive mind of Malifica, the Lesser Atriarchs often find themselves outcasts, diverging from the unified purpose of the great demonic forces. 

In battle, a Lesser Atriarch is a formidable adversary, possessing both innate spellcasting abilities and regenerative powers fueled by the energy-absorbing crystals. As with all creatures of Malifica, they possess the power of foresight and divination, allowing them to see all possible outcomes and adjust their tactics as needed. 

Over time, some Lesser Atriarchs awaken, gaining independent will and purpose. These awakened beings are the precursors to true Atriarchs of Malifica, each possessing nearly unlimited potential for evolution. The Lesser Atriarchs, thought often as outcasts within Yhtar, remain a formidable force in Ugul Hul's malevolent horde, blending chaos and demonic might in their wake.
